So,Which Handbag Should I Buy??
You're looking for a designer handbag. You want one because,well, why? That's the first question you have to ask.
What is it you're looking for? Style? Class? Functionality? Reasonable price? Something to make eyes turn? Something that raises the question, "is that real or is it a fake?" How about the impression you're trying to make? "Wow,she must have big bux or a great job to afford that." There's even the honest joy that matching your outfit with your accessories brings.
Do any of those questions make sense to you? Do any of them sound like your mind or match your intent? No one will know the answer but you so be honest with yourself, for a change. Why do you want the handbag or purse?
Once you have answered that question, you really must consider cost, if you're a normal everyday working stiff like the vast majority of ladies. If you're one of the lucky softies who has more money than sense, the question is moot, but we're not really talking to you. We're talking to the former because they need the help. You richies have already got your assistants, consultants, designers, etc. so you may want to just mosey on over to your favorite designer and let them tell you what you want.
The rest of us will try to decide on something that is reasonable yet will get the job done for us.
Ok, question numero uno in this category is, of course, "what can you afford?" Better yet, let's go with, "what are you willing to afford?" After all some of us like to believe that whatever we put on our credit cards will always stay there and we won't have to address it again so we may as well put on the purse or handbag that we don't have the cash to buy. Heck, why not have everything we want even if we cannot pay for it,as long as it makes us look GOOD, right, girls?
So, the question remains. What are you willing to put on that credit card? If you're single, it's no one's business but yours, right? Uh oh, but if you're a married gal, you're probably going to have to contend with the hubster.
The hubsters usually don't really get it, do they? They have their golf equipment and their computers and their cars and all the man-tools but you, yes, you deserve your woman-tools too, right? Of course! Why should they spend all that money on themselves and leave you out? No way! Get in there and get your due rewards. If they can justify that new set of golf clubs that they spend $2500 on, why shouldn't you be able to buy a bag worth at least that? Ok, that does it! You deserve it so go for it!
Ok, you've decided that you can put at least $2500 on a new bag and you've justified the expenditure using your womanly instincts and chutzpa.
The next thing you need to do is decide which designer you find the most appealing and, of course, which handbag answers the first question of all:"why?"

Oh,my!!! What a gorgeous online display of Gucci bags and purses. You can even choose between classics, clutches, evening, shoulder bags, top handles…everything you can imagine. Then each bag is pictured with its variations and price. Brilliant! See anything you like here? It seems that the further you go to the right, the higher the prices go. I've spotted a beautiful "Queen" black leather with gold hardware for $2350. Gorgeous. There is a very large collection to choose from here. Take your time.

Woah! All the bags seem to look the same…of course. That's Louis' trademark. That way EVERYONE will know you're carrying a Vuitton, right? I guess it depends on your intent. Weigh it all and then find the right price. Why not buy several different ones if your budget allows? The impression you leave, you may leave several times. Don't limit yourself to just one choice.
